Project Sneak Peek

Kodiak Island residents will get to preview some of the submissions and learn more about the Tide Pool Project at the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center during a scheduled community art walk this Thursday. Creation of the installation begins this fall and updates of progress will be documented here. The project is tentatively scheduled for installation and public viewing during our annual Whale Festival in April. I am looking forward to collaborating with Kodiak students, artists, KNWR and the Kodiak Arts Council. Submissions are still being accepted and are greatly appreciated. My goal is to create a traveling exhibit where folks can experience the wonders of tide pooling and learn about this amazing and important ecosystem. Thanks for your support!
